Hey there, welcome back to Through the Lens Caballero Photos Blog!
Capturing light, feelings & moments and all the things in between people and life.
When I first decided to leave my corporate job to pursue photographer, I had friends and family worried. Even though most were super happy for this new journey, I got asked repeatedly a similar question, do you think it'll be profitable?
It's so easy to say YES! And it's even easier to undercharge to make a quick sale. However, I knew that in order for my business to make a profit, a livable one, and to not burn myself out after the first year I needed to create a business plan. My focus when starting photography was to grow as a business, so from the start I knew I needed to research and niche down.
1. The Gift of Timeless Memories
Imagine flipping through an album years from now and instantly being transported back to those moments. A family photographer captures not just images but the essence of your family's unique story, preserving it for future generations to enjoy.
Often times people categorize purchases by intangible and tangible. It’s easy to justify a purchase that you can hold every day, use around the house or makes your travel easier. Photographs are an item that you don’t use every day. They are a mixture of both tangible and intangible - they get placed up as decor or input into a scrapbook and not messed with daily. However, as children grow and family dynamics changes a family photographer has a crucial role in capturing and persevering precious moments for families. Family photographers have the skills and expertise to create beautiful and meaningful photos that tell your family story!
2.Stressfree Experience
Trying to get everyone to sit still and smile at the same time? That’s a job for a superhero, or better yet, a professional photographer! They know how to wrangle kids, make adults laugh, and even get the family pet to pose. You can relax and enjoy the session while they work their magic. A key value of a family photographer is their ability to create a comfortable and relaxed environment during the photo session. We understand the dynamics of a family and know how to make everyone feel at ease, resulting in natural and authentic photos. This not only gives beautiful photos it creates a moment for your family to enjoy together. The connection that a family photographer helps bring out into the moment will showcase children in their element and their raw self.
3. Creative Vision
Family photographers have a knack for spotting those candid, heartwarming moments you might miss. Whether it’s a shared giggle, a spontaneous hug, or a knowing glance, they capture the genuine connections that define your family.
A family photographer has a keen eye for detail and composition. They know how to frame shots, use lighting effectively, and capture the emotions between family members. These photographs become cherished memories that can be treasured for generations to come.
4. Professional Quality
Sure, smartphone cameras are great, but there’s something special about a professionally taken photo. The right lighting, angles, and editing can make all the difference. A family photographer has the expertise to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.
A family photographer has the technical knowledge to produce high-quality images. They have professional-grade equipment and editing skills to enhance the photos and make them visually stunning. This ensures that the final photographs are of the highest standard and can be proudly displayed in albums or as wall art.
