Hi, I'm Mercy - I Specialize in Pausing Family Moments. 


I’m a family, kids, and maternity photographer with a passion for capturing authentic moments. As a full-time mom of five spirited children—Nathan (11), Jesse (8), Amelia (6), and Lilianna (3), Zuko (Newborn)—I know just how precious those family memories are. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, I thrive in the great outdoors, embracing the beauty of nature through hiking and exploring all that our stunning state has to offer.

I'm warm, down-to-earth, and love connecting with people. I’m all about meaningful chats about family, life, and celebrating your unique story. When we meet, I can promise you two things – genuine moments full of laughter and stunning photos you’ll treasure forever.


My passion for photography runs deep, rooted in childhood memories of my mom capturing every event, adventure, and daily life with her camera. I didn’t realize just how significant those moments were until my first son arrived. I began photographing every tiny detail—the silly expressions, those tiny fingers, his favorite sleeping positions, and those delightful giggles. After creating countless photo albums and welcoming three more little ones, I discovered my true love for photography.

When I’m not taking photos: I’m spending time with my husband, Jesse, and our four kids—probably out riding horses, hiking, or having a cozy family movie night!

Fun fact: I’ve loved horses since I was little and will never turn down a horse photoshoot!

Why I chose photography

a little history

Ever since becoming a mom, I’ve realized how fleeting time truly is. One moment you’re cradling tiny hands, and before you know it, those hands are reaching for the world. That’s why I fell in love with photography. It allows me to capture the laughter that fills your home, the way your child wraps their arms around you, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed but mean everything.

My hope is that when you look back at your photos, you don’t just see the moment you feel it all over again!
