If the thought of dragging your kids to a photo session sounds overwhelming, let me ease your mind right now. My family sessions are designed to be fun, stress-free, and even a little magical.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what you can expect:

Before your session, we’ll chat through a quick questionnaire. I ask about your kiddos’ names, ages, any shyness or sensory needs, and what you’re hoping for. Whether you want mostly candid's or a few “smile at the camera” moments, I tailor each session to you.

When we arrive, we don’t jump right into posing. I like to ease into things—let the kids explore the space, chat with you all, and maybe play a little game or two. I’ll guide everyone with natural prompts like “snuggle in close” or “walk toward me holding hands.” No stiff poses here.

I always build in time for breaks, snacks, and meltdowns—because #parentlife. And trust me, some of the sweetest moments come from those “in-between” times.

We’ll usually shoot for about 45-60 minutes, and you’ll end up with a gallery full of connection, laughter, and personality.

One of my favorite sessions that really shows this in action was with my fall indoor session below. The littlest one wasn’t into it at first, but with a little patience (and some silly sounds), we got the sweetest smiles and snuggles.

Family photos don’t have to be stressful. With me, it’s more like a fun evening hangout—with a camera!
